ByteBridge seeks a Mechanical Engineer – Data Center Infrastructure to design and deploy high-density data center cooling systems, including liquid cooling, piping, and equipment integration. The role emphasizes site-level mechanical engineering with cross-functional collaboration across product, electrical, project management, manufacturing, construction, and operations teams.

The ideal candidate has hands-on data center experience and a PE license is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Mechanical Engineering (Required).
  • 4+ years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably in data centers or mission-critical facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical engineering activities for high-density data center infrastructure.
  • Develop and review mechanical designs, drawings, specs, calculations, and equipment schedules.
  • Design and validate cooling solutions for traditional and AI/GPU data centers.
  • Review piping layouts, equipment placement, and service clearances.
  • Coordinate designs with electrical, structural, architectural, controls/BMS, and IT teams.
  • Support BOMs, equipment specs, scopes of work, and procurement packages.
  • Conduct site visits and ensure conformance with design requirements.
