ByteBridge is seeking a Mechanical Engineer – Data Center Infrastructure to design, develop, deploy, and commission high-density cooling solutions for data centers. The role emphasizes site-level mechanical engineering, piping integration, and constructability, with strong collaboration across internal and external teams.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with mission-critical facilities and familiarity with AI/GPU cooling needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• PE license preferred or required for some roles.
• 4+ years in mechanical engineering, preferably data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong understanding of data center cooling and hydraulics.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or Revit.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering activities for high-density data center infrastructure.
• Develop and review mechanical designs, drawings, specs, calculations, and equipment schedules.
• Design and validate cooling solutions for traditional and AI/GPU data centers.
• Review piping layouts, equipment placement, redundancy, and service clearances.
• Coordinate with electrical, structural, controls, and IT teams.
• Support BOMs, equipment specs, and procurement packages.
