ButterflyMX, Inc. is seeking a stellar Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and support the hardware products.

You will own mechanical, physical, and thermal design across our current and future devices, collaborating with product, electrical, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust, manufacturable solutions. Based in Southern California, you will contribute to a fast-paced hardware team, drive design reviews, and help bring innovative access control hardware to market with a focus on

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Fluent in SolidWorks with FEA
• Experience with sheet metal, cast and machined parts
• Strong fundamentals in mechanics and thermodynamics
• Curious and product-focused design mindset
• Able to work in a fast-paced hardware team

Responsabilidades

• Own mechanical design from requirements to production.
• Collaborate with product, electrical, and manufacturing teams.
• Prototype, test, and iterate using 3D printing and machining.
• Lead design reviews and communicate tradeoffs.
• Identify and mitigate design risks.
