This role sits at the intersection of electronics, hardware validation, manufacturing operations, field reliability, and quality improvement, working with intercoms, access control devices, readers, controllers, wireless hardware, test fixtures, cables, power

Qualifications

• Hands-on electronics technician experience in engineering, manufacturing, test, repair, quality, or lab environments.
• Ability to read schematics, drawings, work instructions, test procedures, and basic mechanical documentation.
• Working knowledge of PCBs, components, cables, connectors, power systems, sensors, controllers, and embedded hardware.
• Proficiency with standard lab tools, soldering, wiring, rework, inspection, assembly, and repair.
• Ability to troubleshoot board, cable, connector, assembly, configuration, and system‑level issues.
• Strong documentation discipline for test records, repair notes, photos, logs, and issue summaries.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, configure, and prepare hardware for prototype and production.
• Execute electrical, functional, environmental, and reliability testing.
• Diagnose failed assemblies and perform repairs as needed.
• Document findings, risks, and recommended next steps.
• Maintain lab, fixtures, and equipment with safe practices.
• Collaborate across Engineering and Operations.
