NS Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to drive mechanical design, DFx decisions, and support for nextScan and imaging systems. The role involves R&D handoffs to production, and collaboration with manufacturing, vendors, and service teams.

Responsibilities include system architecture, design reviews, creating SolidWorks drawings, and supporting certifications and procurement. Travel may be occasional to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
• SolidWorks and machining experience required.
• Experience with optical and imaging technologies.
• Design for Manufacturability and related concepts (DFM/DFS).

Responsabilités

• Develop system architectures, designs and reviews for ME projects.
• Create and update SolidWorks drawings and manage in PDM.
• Coordinate with manufacturing and suppliers for vendor/part selection.
• Support production engineering, certifications (UL, Energy Star).
• Provide technical resource across sales, support and service teams.
