Job summary

CEME Americas in the United States is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and develop pump components for fluid systems. You will manage projects, apply mechanical and hydraulic principles, and work with stakeholders to identify challenges and implement effective solutions.

The role requires Creo and Windchill experience, knowledge of machining and plastic/metal components, and adherence to ISO standards. Travel up to 10% and collaboration across departments are expected.

Qualifications

• MSME/BSME or equivalent required, plus 3–5 years in design of mechanical components for fluid systems.
• Experience with molded plastics, machined metals, and assembly techniques.
• Experience developing or implementing a new or significantly revised product design or technology.
• Experience with CAD tools such as Creo and SolidWorks.
• Experience with PLM systems such as Windchill and knowledge of ISO standards.
• Regular and reliable attendance; travel up to 10% internationally; authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects of moderate complexity through the Product Introduction Process.
• Model components and assemblies with Creo and Windchill; generate production drawings.
• Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to identify design challenges and solutions.
• Apply machining and injection molding knowledge to design new components.
• Develop new or modified fluid system parts and technologies.
• Use analytical modeling and prototyping to prove feasibility.
• Perform hands-on testing to validate designs meet specs and customer expectations.
• Coordinate with all departments to ensure compliance with specs and requirements.
• Support Safety, Environment and ISO quality standards.
