Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; equivalent training/experience.
- Professional Engineer license (NC) required or ability to obtain.
- Substantial knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and energy codes and standards.
- Experience in design, project management, and construction administration; apply codes to system design and renovation.
Responsibilities
- Design review and construction administration of mechanical and plumbing systems on capital projects.
- Maintain Plumbing and Mechanical Guidelines and ensure code compliance.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, maintenance staff, and facilities teams campus-wide.
- Lead multiple projects concurrently and provide engineering support acrossFacilities Services.
