JM Eagle in Ashtabula, OH is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support engineering projects for expansions and improvements across pipe forming equipment, utility systems, and related manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with 5+ years of related experience, and be proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office and Microsoft Project. Strong reading of design drawings and collaboration with suppliers and plant personnel are essential.

Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Office and Microsoft Project.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret design drawings; strong problem solving and collaboration.

Mansioni

Specify, evaluate, and purchase industrial equipment after extrusion and related utilities.
Design chill water piping and pneumatic conveying systems for manufacturing plants.
Manage suppliers and coordinate with vendors to ensure quality and start-up success.
Prepare purchasing documents, negotiate prices, and track project approvals.
Use project management skills to oversee projects from initiation to completion.
Design using AutoCAD; Solidworks is a plus but not required.
Communicate effectively with plant personnel and HQ teams.
Perform other duties as assigned.
