Job summary

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with 5+ years of related experience, and be proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office and Microsoft Project. Strong reading of design drawings and collaboration with suppliers and plant personnel are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering with 5+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Office and Microsoft Project.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret design drawings; strong problem solving and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Specify, evaluate, and purchase industrial equipment after extrusion and related utilities.
• Design chill water piping and pneumatic conveying systems for manufacturing plants.
• Manage suppliers and coordinate with vendors to ensure quality and start-up success.
• Prepare purchasing documents, negotiate prices, and track project approvals.
• Use project management skills to oversee projects from initiation to completion.
• Design using AutoCAD; Solidworks is a plus but not required.
• Communicate effectively with plant personnel and HQ teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
