Job summary

Torus Inc. is building a world-class mechanical engineering team in Salt Lake City to design, validate, and bring to life sub-systems for energy storage systems.

You’ll work at the critical handoff between design and manufacturing, ensuring fast, reliable execution and fit-for-production solutions. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 1–5+ years experience in mechanical engineering.
• Hands-on prototyping, testing, and design validation in regulated industry.
• Strong background in Solidworks, PDM, and CAD administration.
• Proactive, action-oriented problem solving approach.
• Strong organizational skills and workflow discipline.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and test sub-systems of Torus Pulse and/or Torus Spin.
• Ensure smooth transition from Design to Manufacturing.
• Support DFM/DFA with manufacturing and suppliers.
• Support lifecycle development from concept through testing and production.
• Solve technical problems to meet product specifications.
• Create, manage, and document critical product specifications.
• Collaborate with internal and external engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with codes and safety requirements.
