Job summary

Jacobs is expanding its Energy & Power Solutions team and seeking mechanical engineers to develop their skills, working with clients and operations teams on energy projects from concept to full execution. Strong fundamentals in mechanical design and problem-solving are essential, with exposure to energy calculations and codes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• At least 4 years of experience in energy engineering.
• Knowledge of codes and standards for energy and power projects (ASME, NFPA, ASHRAE).
• Experience performing energy calculations and analyzing drawings/specifications.
• Effective communication and technical writing skills.
• Experience leading mechanical design teams and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide feasibility studies for energy projects.
• Provide design and construction oversight for energy projects.
• Collaborate with clients and operations teams to develop concept-level plans and solutions.
• Communicate clearly and solve problems while exploring innovative energy solutions.
