Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design energy-efficient HVAC and mechanical systems for buildings across industries in our Indianapolis office. You will collaborate with a team of engineers and work directly with clients throughout all project phases.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering, has 1+ year ME P design experience, and is proficient in Revit and AutoCAD; FE registration is preferred, PE possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering required.
• 1+ year(s) of experience with MEP design.
• FE registration preferred with potential for PE.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC and mechanical systems for energy-efficient buildings.
• Prepare, read, and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Interact with owners, clients, architects, and contractors in person and in writing.
• Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques for project tasks.
• Collaborate with engineers and staff to implement operating procedures and resolve issues.
• Research and analyze design proposals, manuals, and standards for feasibility, cost, and maintenance.
