Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for our Boston and Framingham offices. This role designs the mechanical systems of energy-efficient buildings and collaborates with a team of engineers to deliver high-quality projects.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of consulting engineering experience, an EIT or PE certificate, and hands-on experience with Revit/AutoCAD, MEP design, and interfacing with clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a mechanical engineer.
• EIT or PE Certificate.
• Project Management experience.
• Interfacing with clients.
• Cooling and heating plants experience.
• MEP Design experience.
• Revit and AutoCAD proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems for energy-efficient buildings.
• Lead and manage project design efforts through all phases.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Coordinate with owners, clients, and architects.
• Review contractor submittals for conformance with documents.
• Provide guidance on energy-efficient design implementations.
• Evaluate design feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements.
• Ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specs.
