Job summary

WENCOR is seeking a mid-level mechanical engineer to review customer requirements, design electromechanical components and assemblies, create engineering drawings, and provide production support. You will ensure projects meet schedules and customer needs, and act as the technical contact for assigned design projects.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver quality engineering deliverables and prototypes for beta testing and demonstrations.

• Assure compliance with DRM, project requirements, and design requirements.
• Support regular product design reviews.
• Develop mechanical and electromechanical products.
• Assure quality of engineering deliverables.
• Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration.
• Perform engineering calculations to support design work.
• Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, this is a mid-level mechanical engineering position where the individual will review customer technical requirements, design electromechanical components and assemblies, create engineering drawings, and provide production support for product build. This position ensures the design projects are completed according to schedule and meet the customer requirements. The position will be responsible for internal company support and overall quality control of engineering deliverables. This position will also be the technical point of contact for the design projects assigned to the individual.
