Job summary

WENCOR is seeking a mid-level mechanical engineer to review customer requirements, design electromechanical components and assemblies, create engineering drawings, and provide production support. You will ensure projects meet schedules and customer needs, and act as the technical contact for assigned design projects.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver quality engineering deliverables and prototypes for beta testing and demonstrations.

Qualifications

• Review customer technical requirements.
• Design electromechanical components and assemblies.
• Create engineering drawings.
• Provide production support and ensure quality of deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Work with Engineering Manager for project assignment.
• Review customer Technical Requirements for the assigned design.
• Communicate with electrical and software engineers to develop the overall design.
• Assure compliance with DRM, project requirements, and design requirements.
• Support regular product design reviews.
• Develop mechanical and electromechanical products.
• Assure quality of engineering deliverables.
• Generate working prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstration.
• Perform engineering calculations to support design work.
• Ensure project timeline is met and project stays within budget.
