Job summary

Mid-Continent-Controls is seeking a mid-level Mechanical Engineer to review customer requirements, design electromechanical components, and provide production support for product builds. You will develop drawings, ensure quality, and act as the technical point of contact for assigned projects.

The role requires 3+ years of mechanical design experience, a BS Mechanical Engineering, and proficiency with SolidWorks, 3D modeling and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years mechanical design experience, preferably in aerospace cabin or similar systems.
• BSME or equivalent education required.
• SolidWorks and 3D modeling used to support detail, assembly, and top-level drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Review customer technical requirements and assist in developing overall design.
• Collaborate with electrical and software engineers to integrate design.
• Ensure quality of engineering deliverables and adherence to project requirements and timelines.
• Generate prototypes for beta testing and customer demonstrations.
• Provide production support and assist in design validation and troubleshooting.
