Job summary

ShrinQ Consulting Group Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, test, and improve mechanical systems and products.

The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure performance, quality, cost, and safety throughout the product lifecycle. Key responsibilities include creating 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software, conducting calculations and simulations, developing prototypes, and preparing documentation such as BOMs and technical reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 0–5+ years of experience (depending on the role).
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or Creo.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, GD&T, and material selection.
• Familiarity with FEA/CFD tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, systems, and equipment.
• Create 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, Creo).
• Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and feasibility studies.
• Develop and test prototypes; analyze test results and implement design improvements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and project teams.
• Prepare engineering documentation, BOMs, technical reports, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
• Support troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
