Job summary

MaximaTek seeks a Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team in Arizona. The role supports design, development, testing, analysis, and improvement of mechanical systems, components, and products. Entry-level candidates as well as those with 2–5 years of experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities include CAD modeling, drawings, tolerance analysis, prototype testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturability, quality, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 0–5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanics, materials, thermodynamics, manufacturing, and machine design.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and development of mechanical components, assemblies, and systems.
• Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D CAD models using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or CATIA.
• Perform basic engineering calculations, simulations, tolerance analysis, and design evaluations.
• Support prototype development, testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare engineering drawings, specifications, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with manufacturing teams to improve manufacturability, quality, and cost.
