Job summary

Modula Inc. in Ohio seeks a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to support development, design, detailing, analysis, and production of Modula products. You will contribute to cost estimation, revisions, QA, and customer support while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include creating components and assemblies, generating drawings and BOMs, assisting procurement on make/buy decisions, and providing field support to customers and Sales. Travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or 5+ years related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, 2D AutoCAD, and 3D modeling.
• Experience with PTC Creo modeling, Windchill, FEA analysis, and SAP preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a cross cultural environment; Italian preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design components and assemblies; create fabrication drawings; analyze parts; prepare BOMs and routings.
• Assist production planning and purchasing on make/buy decisions.
• Generate machine programs for production; support QA and production with procedures and testing.
• Provide technical support to production, Sales, and Customer Care; assist in field modifications.
