Job summary

The Bureau of Reclamation's Grand Coulee Power Office in Washington is seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to mentor and provide technical guidance on a variety of complex projects at Grand Coulee Dam, the nation's largest hydropower facility.

You will support engineering design and operations, review inspection data, and collaborate with higher-graded engineers to advance the Columbia Basin Project's water and power delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited) or equivalent with relevant coursework.
Experience supporting higher-graded engineers and applying fundamentals to projects.
Ability to review equipment and systems data and assist with designs.

Responsibilities

Provide mentorship and technical guidance on complex projects.
