Job summary

Verto People Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a specialist automation engineering team. You will design and develop bespoke automation equipment from concept through to installation and commissioning, producing SolidWorks models and detailed drawings.

The role covers the full project lifecycle in a hands-on environment, requiring collaboration with controls engineers, project managers, and technicians. Occasional travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with SolidWorks 3D CAD and 2D drawings.
• Knowledge of pneumatics, actuators, and tolerancing.
• Familiarity with machinery safety standards (OSHA/ANSI/RIA).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop bespoke automation equipment and tooling.
• Produce 3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs, and technical docs.
• Support installation, commissioning, and onsite troubleshooting.
