Job summary

Smart Managed Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to maintain critical building systems and environmental conditions through planned and reactive work. You will supervise subcontractors and ensure plant rooms remain in serviceable order.

Requirements include formal training in HVAC or Plumbing up to City and Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 2, with knowledge of generators and water systems; basic electrical knowledge is desirable.

Qualifications

• Formally trained in mechanical engineering discipline such as HVAC or Plumbing (City and Guilds Level 3 or NVQ Level 2).
• Knowledge of generators and water systems is required; basic electrical knowledge is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain critical building systems and environmental conditions through PPM and reactive works.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure all plant rooms are kept in serviceable order.
• Adhere to health & safety requirements and risk assessments.
