Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to manage HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems across multiple commercial properties in Utah. You will maintain DX units, rooftop units, boilers, pumps, and ventilation, monitor energy use, and perform preventive maintenance per industry standards.

You will respond to emergencies, conduct safety trainings, maintain CMMS records, and support project work on shift with on-call duties.

Qualifications

EPA 608 Certification is required.
High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
5+ years of related work experience in operating mechanical, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems in a commercial property setting.
License/permit for trade such as Journeyman License or City Licenses may be required.
Universal Technician for CFC’s is preferred.
Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record.
Basic computing skills (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Experience with HVAC, boilers, pumps, refrigerant systems, and related equipment.
Knowledge of energy management systems and CMMS programs.

Responsibilities

Perform all plumbing, electrical, or HVAC requirements of the building(s).
Maintain heating equipment, DX units, split systems, rooftop units, exhaust fans, pumps, and air distribution systems.
Monitor and adjust mechanical equipment, thermostats, diffusers, and other equipment.
Verify field conditions and perform repairs or adjustments.
Monitor energy management and efficiency.
Respond to emergencies and customer concerns.
Document and report activities to supervisor; follow safety training and dress code.
Work independently as needed on priority situations and on-call duties.
