Job summary

FMH Conveyors, part of Duravant, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design flexible and non-flexible conveyors, assist with electrical schematics, and support R&D and ERP processes. Role involves 3-D CAD modeling, BOM/MOM management, and collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams.

The position requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited) and 5–10+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment; travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 5–10+ years in mechanical design of manufactured equipment in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read technical journals and write reports and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead 3-D CAD modeling of conveyors and related equipment.
• Develop BOMs and MOMs in the ERP system for all conveyors.
• Develop conveyor systems and components per customer specs.
