Job summary

TP-Link Systems Inc. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to own the mechanical system architecture from concept to high‑volume manufacturing for consumer networking and smart home products. You will work with Industrial Design and Electrical teams to deliver production‑ready designs.

You will drive tooling engagement, ECO processes, DFx decisions, and ensure robust fit, form and function across multiple manufacturing processes. Travel to supplier sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of mechanical/product design experience in consumer electronics or electro‑mechanical products.
• Proficiency with PTC Creo; able to produce release‑ready CAD drawings and BOMs.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive product-level mechanical system architecture, including internal layout and tolerance strategy.
• Collaborate with Industrial Design to translate design intent into manufacturable solutions balancing cost, aesthetics, and reliability.
• Define mechanical interfaces with Electrical/Hardware teams including PCB outline, mounting, and access to connectors.
• Support thermal/EMI integration and grounding across assembly variations.
• Create and release drawings/BOMs using Creo; apply GD&T and tolerance stack‑ups.
