Job summary

Lunar Energy, Inc. seeks an ATE Mechanical Engineer to own the full lifecycle of mechanical systems for its home energy products. You will work with a small, hands-on team to design, test, and iterate high‑volume parts and assemblies that meet performance and manufacturability goals.

You will collaborate with suppliers and internal engineers, applying 3D modeling, GD&T, and testing methods to deliver reliable, scalable solutions. Occasional travel 10–20% is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical design for consumer products.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools and drafting standards.
• Knowledge of tolerancing, analyses and testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across teams to refine designs for impact, cost and reliability.
• Brainstorm, evaluate options, and select optimal solutions.
• Test ideas and designs via calculations, tests and simulations.
• Design high‑performance, manufacturable parts and assemblies.
• Create drawings, BOMs, and manage engineering releases.
• Define manufacturing processes and inspection methods.
• Collaborate with suppliers for prototypes and production.
• Support hardware with PCBA, fixtures and jigs as needed.
• Travel 10–20% to domestic and international contract sites.
