The role emphasizes high‑volume manufacturing readiness, tolerancing, DFMEA, and collaboration with electrical engineers and test teams. Travel and onsite build support are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Mechanical design experience across full product lifecycle.
• Proficient in 3D CAD; able to generate and review drawings with GD&T.
• Ability to perform tolerance analysis and stackups for assemblies.
• Experience with FEA, root cause analysis and DFMEA.
• Familiar with electromechanical troubleshooting and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across teams to refine product designs for reliability and manufacturability.
• Create and review part drawings and specifications; manage BOMs and vendor relations.
• Define manufacturing processes and inspection methods for high-volume production.
• Support prototypes and production with direct collaboration with part manufacturers.
• Generate work instructions for electromechanical assemblies.
