Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to help design, test, and manufacture mechanical parts and assemblies. You’ll collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and multiple departments from concept to production.

Responsibilities include creating components, building CAD models, supporting prototypes, validating designs, and improving manufacturability. A 2+ year track record and CAD fluency are required; equity and benefits are part of the package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of engineering experience (including internships).
• Experience with 3D CAD software (Creo, SolidWorks, CATIA or NX), GD&T and tolerance evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and advancing mechanical components, fixtures, jigs, and assemblies.
• Build and modify 2D drawings and 3D CAD models.
• Support prototype builds, validation, and testing.
• Analyze failures and participate in root cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to improve quality and manufacturability.
• Support supplier qualification and engineering changes.
