Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a Hardware Expert to interpret dimensions from technical drawings and translate 2D schematics into precise 3D models. This contract, remote role requires strong Python programming and CAD geometry skills to produce watertight STEP outputs.

You will validate topology, volume, surface area, and inertia properties, and diagnose differences between expected and generated geometry. 10-40 hrs/week commitment with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to write Python scripts for CAD geometry generation and automation.
• Hands-on experience with 3D CAD or computational geometry.
• Ability to interpret dimensioned engineering drawings and schematics.
• Strong 3D spatial reasoning and attention to geometric precision.
• Experience validating or troubleshooting CAD models.
