Job summary

YO IT Consulting is seeking a Senior FreeCAD Engineer for a remote contract role. You will create, modify, and validate parametric CAD models in FreeCAD to meet project requirements and integrate mechanical assemblies.

You will apply GD&T and DFM, produce precise drawings, perform QA reviews, and use Python scripting to automate modeling tasks. Strong communication for remote collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical engineering or related field with parametric CAD modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in FreeCAD or equivalent parametric CAD.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T and DFM principles.
• Proven ability to produce technical drawings and documentation.
• Experience QA-ing CAD models and verifying specs.
• Excellent analytical and remote collaboration skills.
• Experience with Python scripting for CAD tasks is a plus.
