Job summary

Garver in Kansas City, MO seeks a Mechanical Engineer to support Buildings projects from planning through commissioning, contributing to durable, sustainable designs.

You will design HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, perform energy modeling, and report on sustainability; coordinate with support disciplines and regional offices, with periodic site travel. The role requires strong communication, Revit proficiency, and commitment to QA/QC and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or architectural engineering with a mechanical focus from an ABET accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 3 years of building design and construction industry experience.
• Must have a knowledge base of mechanical engineering principals related to building mechanical designs.
• Must be proficient with MS Office Suite.
• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical designs for Buildings projects.
• Coordinate with support disciplines and regional offices.
• Assist project managers and uphold QA/QC plans.
• Travel to project sites as required.
