Job summary

Responsibilities include collaborating with other disciplines, supporting project managers, adhering to QA/QC plans, and periodic site travel. A ABET-accredited degree and FE exam pass are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or architectural engineering with a mechanical focus from an ABET accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 3 years of building design and construction industry experience
• Must have a knowledge base of mechanical engineering principals related to building mechanical designs
• Must have strong communication skills
• Experience with Autodesk Revit
• Must be proficient with MS Office Suite
• Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical designs for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, energy modeling, and sustainability reporting.
• Coordinate with other support disciplines, and coordination with regional offices.
• Assisting project managers in management of projects.
• Follow QA/QC plans and travel periodically to project sites.
