DataAnnotation is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to craft challenging, closed-ended problems that require solid engineering reasoning. You will derive and verify answers, then document the process for training AI models.

You'll review AI-generated engineering analyses and designs for correctness and real-world applicability, and you'll review others’ contributions for precision. A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and 2+ years of experience are expected, with

Qualifications

2+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience in any specialty.
Fluency with CAD tools and engineering analysis software (FEA/CFD, MATLAB/Python).
Able to write precise, unambiguous technical problems and solutions in fluent English.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

Write challenging, closed-ended engineering problems from your area of expertise.
Derive the correct answer, verify it, and write a worked solution.
Test problems against AI systems and refine based on results.
Review AI-generated analyses and designs for correctness and real-world applicability.
Review others’ problems and solutions for accuracy and rigor.
