Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is required.
• Experience in mechanical design and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) is required.
• Proficiency in creating detailed part and assembly drawings (drafting experience required).
• Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, Creo, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, fabrication methods, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems for marine and industrial applications.
• Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate structural integrity, stress, vibration, fatigue, and overall performance of components and assemblies.
• Create detailed part drawings, assembly drawings, and manufacturing documentation using CAD software.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, and systems engineering teams to integrate mechanical solutions into larger operational systems.
• Support prototype fabrication, testing, troubleshooting, and iterative product improvement.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to engineering decision‑making processes.
• Assist with material selection, manufacturing methods, and vendor coordination.
• Ensure engineering documentation and designs comply with applicable industry standards and internal quality requirements.
• Contribute to field testing and deployment activities as needed.
