• Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, Creo, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and mechanical drafting.
• Exposure to FEA through coursework, internships, or professional experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of materials, fabrication, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Active Secret security clearance.

Position Overview

ISPA Technology LLC is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer to support the design, development, and testing of advanced marine and mechanical systems. This position is ideal for an early-career engineer looking to gain hands‑on experience with mechanical design, CAD, structural analysis, prototyping, and testing in an R&D environment.

The Junior Mechanical Engineer will work alongside experienced engineers while contributing to the development of ocean‑based technologies and related hardware systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies.
• Support Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and other engineering analyses under guidance from senior engineers.
• Create and update part drawings, assembly drawings, and engineering documentation using CAD software.
