Job summary

Dynomax Inc. is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to design, build, and create drawings for cable harnesses and connector assemblies.

You will work with machinists and vendors to source components and manage projects from conception through to completion, ensuring assembly quality and effective communication with customers throughout the process. The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing engineering, a degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, and SolidWorks proficiency

Qualifications

• 2+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on product development with conceptual design.
• SolidWorks experience for models, assemblies, and drawings.
• Ability to learn new subjects and adapt to change.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

A family-owned Aerospace company, Dynomax designs, manufactures and develops high-precision machined components, injection molding and tooling, sub-assemblies, automated work cells, and specialty machines since 1986. We are seeking a hands‑on Mechanical Engineer who will design, build, create drawings for and assemble cable harnesses and connector assemblies.

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
• Desire to work on both: conceptual engineering and hands‑on product development
• SolidWorks experience: models, assembly, and drawings required. Desired: configurations
• Capability to learn about new subjects
• Thrives in an environment of constant change and evolution
• Working Knowledge of Harness and connector assembly
• Effective problem solver, with the ability to utilize analytical techniques for issue resolution
• Ability to develop and communicate assembly instructions verbally and the written word
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
