We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to provide mechanical engineering support throughout the organization, working closely with customers, sales, engineering, and our manufacturing facilities. This position will be responsible for product sizing and selection, engineering calculations, application analysis, technical problem-solving, and the design and development of new products.

Responsibilities

Engineering Support & Application Solutions

• Provide mechanical engineering technical support, product training, and application assistance to regional staff and customers.
• Share the engineering workload and provide technical support on customer and internal engineering projects.
• Conduct product sizing and selection based on customer parameters and application requirements.
• Perform static and dynamic analysis of applications.
• Solve engineering calculations and technical issues for customers.
• Review customer requirements and provide practical engineering solutions.
• Read, interpret, and create 2D and 3D technical drawings to support engineering projects and customer applications.

New Product Development

• Design new products in response to customer inquiries and develop plans for product verification and testing.
• Work closely with manufacturing facilities to develop and implement standardized products from individual customer projects.
• Plan and develop new products based on market demand and information gathered from industry organizations, exhibitions, and target accounts.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and other internal teams throughout the product development process.
• Support product testing, evaluation, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline required.
• Experience in mechanical engineering, product development, or a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, with SolidWorks preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and create technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and analyze customer applications.
• Ability to work effectively with customers, sales teams, manufacturing, and engineering groups.
