Mechanical Project Engineer – Sanitary Process Systems (Food, Biotech, Pharma)

  • Minimum of 2+ years of project experience and a background in sanitary piping within food, biotech, or pharmaceutical industries are required.
  • A 4-year engineering degree is also required.

This full-time, permanent position at a growing, diverse manufacturer of custom structural, system, and metal components offers opportunities for career growth. Employees with the right aptitude and drive can advance to project management roles. The responsibilities of the successful candidate include:

  1. Managing projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
  2. Scheduling and budgeting various custom engineering projects.
  3. Creating, engineering, fabricating, and testing custom projects.
  4. Collaborating with vendors and customers.
  5. Working with engineering and production teams.
  6. Supporting project engineers and working in unison with them.
  7. Creating the Production Ready Library.
  8. Developing bills of materials.
  9. Coordinating system integrations.
  10. Overseeing field installations.

The ideal candidate's background should include:

  • At least 2+ years of experience as a Project Engineer, specifically in biotechnology, food, and/or pharmaceutical industries with sanitary piping.
  • A four-year engineering degree.
  • At least 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
