Qualifications

We’re looking for a talented Mechanical Engineer with 4–10 years of MEP consulting experience to join a growing engineering team and take on meaningful work across a diverse portfolio of building projects.

This is an opportunity for an engineer who wants more than simply producing drawings. You’ll be involved in the design, analysis, equipment selection, and coordination of mechanical/HVAC systems across commercial, mixed-use, industrial, healthcare, residential, and specialty facilities. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and designers while gaining the technical and project experience needed to continue progressing toward your PE license.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and develop mechanical/HVAC systems for a variety of building types
• Perform equipment selections, system layouts, load calculations, and equipment scheduling
• Develop and coordinate construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD
• Work closely with senior engineers and designers to develop practical, code-compliant solutions
• Review and incorporate design redlines while maintaining accuracy and quality
• Apply applicable building codes, standards, and design criteria to project workCollaborate with owners, architects, contractors, utilities, building officials, and other design professionals
• Participate in project coordination meetings and occasional construction site visits
• Review designs against established quality-control and design standards
• Manage project documentation and maintain organized project files
• Take on increasing responsibility as your technical and project management skills develop

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 4–10 years of MEP consulting/design experience
• EIT certification and actively working toward a PE license
