Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer / Project Manager (PE) for an MEP consulting role.

You will lead the design of building systems, manage multidisciplinary projects, and mentor engineers. You will oversee HVAC and mechanical design for diverse facilities, coordinate with other disciplines, and act as the primary client contact, guiding projects from proposal through construction to ensure quality and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 10+ years of mechanical engineering design experience in an MEP consulting environment.
• Proven project management experience overseeing multiple building projects.
• Advanced proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Lead HVAC and mechanical system design for various project types.
• Manage projects from proposal through construction, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
• Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural teams for integrated design solutions.
• Serve as primary client contact and lead project meetings.
• Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and provide construction administration support.
• Mentor junior engineers and designers through technical guidance and quality reviews.
