Job description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support continued expansion of our product lines. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and documenting mechanical systems and components to meet project specifications; this will be accomplished through creating models of parts, assemblies and drawings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that integrate advanced CAD tools, system design principles, and manufacturing processes, all while providing support to our manufacturing and quality departments.

salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed mechanical designs using software such as Creo, including schematics and drafting documentation.
  • Conduct mechanical analysis utilizing FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools to evaluate stress, thermal performance, and structural integrity of components.
  • Perform root cause analysis on mechanical failures or performance issues to identify underlying problems and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as ASME codes & standards during design, manufacturing, and testing phases.
  • Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles for precise mechanical drawings and quality control.
