Contribute to the development of new prototype and product designs aimed at exploring emerging business opportunities. Create detailed product documentation following standardized release procedures and generate essential information for comprehensive technical design reviews. Interface with customers, vendors, and internal cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of project milestones. Define assembly line and equipment requirements while proposing innovative design techniques and processes to align with evolving industry demands. Collaborate with other engineers to build and test initial prototype concepts and assemblies, collecting performance data for design validation and product release readiness. Design test fixtures to evaluate new prototypes and perform root cause and failure analyses to identify and implement necessary design changes. Support legacy products already in production while conducting periodic benchmarking of designs, materials, and processes to maintain competitive standards and drive continuous improvement.
Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or a directly related field plus three (3) years of experience in Mechanical Engineering role. Experience must include:
