Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Automotive

Mandatory skills: Teamcenter, SolidWorks and Catia. Should have also handled a team of 5-10 people at least because team management and offshore coordination is an important responsibility of this job.

Core Engineering & Design

• 3D Modeling & Detailing: Create 3D parts, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
• Revision Management

Onsite-Offshore Coordination

• Task Delegation: Translate client requirements and redlines into clear, actionable design packages for the offshore team.
• Quality Assurance: Review all offshore deliverables for accuracy, manufacturing feasibility, and adherence to company drafting standards.
• Communication Bridge: Conduct regular sync-ups with the offshore team to clarify design intent, resolve queries, and mitigate project delays due to time-zone differences.
• Progress Tracking: Monitor project milestones and ensure offshore deliverables meet the local client's deadlines
