Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Los Angeles is seeking a senior aerospace engineer with manufacturing background to lead technical workstreams and collaborate with customers on NPI and sustaining projects.

You will mentor offshore teams, drive design reviews, and ensure adherence to reliability and obsolescence processes while delivering high-quality aero components using CATIA/SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• 10-12+ years of aero domain experience.
• US national status required.
• Experience leading technical teams and customer interactions.
• Proficient in CATIA and SolidWorks for aero components.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical team and groom offshore resources.
• Interact with the customer to understand requirements and propose solutions.
• Participate in business requirement discussions with key inputs.
• Lead technical deliverables and address customer inquiries.

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Mechanical engineer in aerospace domain with Manufacturing engineering background
• Technology Development
• New Product Introduction
• In-service reliability tracking and investigations.
• Non-conforming material review
• Production modifications
• Obsolescence management.
• Work as Technical Lead to groom and guide the offshore team
• New Product Introduction /Sustaining Project engineering, fulfilling the requirements of Project Engineers, Design Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, and Stress engineers.
• Develop the Method/Process on how to flow, control and execute the task.
• Interact with the customer to understand the requirements and propose and implement solutions
• Design and lead the development of different modules and other release processes
• Work closely with customer to understand the requirement
• Data segregation,
• Triaging
• Catia Solidworks
• 10 - 12+ Years of experience in aero domain
• Must be US National

Roles & Responsibilities

Salary Range- $130,000-$140,000 a year
