Job summary

Tharp Consulting seeks an accomplished lead mechanical engineer to drive building systems design for high-performance projects in Charlotte, NC. You will lead HVAC and plumbing initiatives, perform load calculations, and coordinate MEP designs using Revit, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams and clients.

Mentoring junior engineers and guiding sustainable, code-compliant solutions will be part of your daily responsibilities on complex assignments.

Qualifications

• Requires strong expertise in mechanical building systems, HVAC and plumbing, with load calculations and coordinated MEP design.
• Hands-on Revit experience and effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to mentor junior engineers.
