Pyramid Consulting, Inc. in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a fulltime role in a hybrid environment. The position leads the mechanical discipline on projects and oversees design integrity across EPC partnerships.

The salary range is $128,000–$140,000 per year, with standard benefits and a strong long-term potential. The candidate should have 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience in petrochemical/refining sectors and be willing to work onsite three days a week.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the Mechanical Discipline Lead for assigned projects, defining the mechanical scope and deliverables for each project phase.
• Provide technical leadership to the mechanical teams of our engineering and EPC partners, ensuring quality and approval of specifications, datasheets, calculations, drawings, and 3D models.
• Specify static and rotating equipment for required services, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and design requirements.
• Coordinate closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to maintain alignment on scope, priorities, interfaces, quality, and schedule.
• Identify mechanical risks early in the project lifecycle, develop robust mitigation plans, and communicate recommendations to project and senior leadership.
• Develop, implement, and maintain standards, procedures, and templates to improve quality and consistency across all future projects.
• Ensure designs are safe for field erection and operation, participating in Management of Change (MOC) reviews and Change Order Requests.
