Job summary

Clear. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design HVAC, cooling, and plumbing systems for data center, life sciences, and advanced manufacturing facilities.

You will develop documents from concept through construction and collaborate across disciplines to ensure successful project delivery. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, 5+ years of hands-on design experience in at least one sector, proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on mechanical design experience in data center, life sciences, or advanced manufacturing facilities.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of mechanical codes and industry standards for industrial and manufacturing facilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform load calculations and equipment selections, and prepare schematic, design development, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with electrical, controls, fire protection, and structural disciplines, and with architects and clients.
• Review vendor submittals and respond to RFIs during design and construction.
• Support quality control reviews and maintain design standards across projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and support design delivery across concurrent projects.

The role

An engineering firm designing mechanical systems for data center, life sciences, and advanced manufacturing facilities is hiring a Mechanical Engineer. You will produce HVAC, cooling, and plumbing design documents from concept through construction, working across projects in all three sectors.

What we need from you
