Job summary

engineeringjobs.net, Inc. seeks a lead mechanical engineer to direct design and delivery from concept through construction, including studies, calculations, documents, code compliance, and energy reporting.

You will mentor staff and coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and other disciplines while supporting field assessments and project reviews. The role requires a ABET‑accredited engineering degree and 7–10+ years in mechanical/HVAC, with data center or healthcare project

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering from an ABET‑accredited university.
• 7–10+ years of mechanical/HVAC engineering and design experience, including mission‑critical data center or healthcare projects.
• EIT or PE license is desired; strong multidisciplinary coordination and field/construction knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design and project delivery from concept through construction, including studies, calculations, and energy documentation.
• Prepare construction documents and ensure code compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Mentor engineering team members and coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and other disciplines.

Job description

Requirements

An EIT or PE license is desired; candidates should also have strong multidisciplinary coordination, field and construction knowledge, communication skills, and proficiency with the listed design and project tools.
