  • Oversee design documentation, technical reviews and project deliverables, providing guidance to engineers and maintaining consistent engineering standards.
  • Support commissioning activities, including coordination with internal and external commissioning teams, system testing, process water flushing and treatment.
  • Work with energy modelling specialists to improve system efficiency and reduce carbon impact while maintaining the resilience required for 24/7 data-center operations.
  • Build relationships with clients and project stakeholders, contribute to business development activities and represent the business at relevant industry events.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • 8-10+ years of mechanical engineering design experience within an engineering consultancy or comparable design environment.
  • Demonstrable experience designing mechanical/HVAC systems for mission-critical facilities, ideally large-scale data centers.
  • Strong technical knowledge of data-center cooling infrastructure, including chillers, cooling towers, AHUs, heat pumps and associated mechanical plant.
  • Experience with standby generation systems and associated fuel oil infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in Revit or AutoCAD
  • Understanding of building controls systems, energy modelling and applicable industry standards, including ASHRAE 90.1, 90.4 and TC 9.9.
