Aalo Atomics in Idaho Falls, ID offers a Summer 2027 Mechanical Engineering Internship. You will contribute to design, prototyping, and testing of mechanical systems for nuclear energy.

You’ll gain hands-on experience working on safety-focused projects on-site May through August. Ideal candidates are pursuing or recently completed a Mechanical Engineering degree, comfortable with CAD and simulation tools, and eager to learn.

• Pursuing or completed Mechanical Engineering degree.
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems and materials.
• Experience with CAD and simulation tools.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork.

Responsabilidades

• Assist design and analysis of mechanical systems for nuclear energy.
• Run simulations and analyses to ensure reliability and safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on prototyping and testing.
• Prepare technical docs, drawings, and presentations.
• Help develop innovative solutions to improve performance and safety.
