Job summary

CRB, a leading engineering, architecture, construction and consulting firm, seeks a Mechanical Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 in Kansas City. You’ll work under a mentor to deliver project documents for pharma, biotech, food & beverage, or industrial process projects, including renovations and new construction.

You will collaborate with multiple disciplines, assist with conceptual designs, and coordinate with vendors, clients, and contractors as part of a diverse, safety-conscious team committed

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Interest in HVAC systems strongly preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit preferred.
• Experience with 3D collaboration tools (Navisworks, BIM360 Suite, Assemble).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Developing project documents (calculations, reports, drawings) for clients.
• Assisting with development of conceptual designs and coordinating with the design team.
• Coordinating with other disciplines, vendors, clients, and contractors.
